Great weekend! I was able to finally visit our Toccoa Campus. Got there early to hang out with the staff a bit, then JB kicked it in high gear with incredible set. Afterwards, the fam went to lunch with our old LIFE Group from Toccoa. They are all loving the Toccoa Campus and serving in many ways. Way to to go guys & gals! Shannon is doing an incredible job over there, 'greater things are yet to come in that city"
Headed to Gignilliat Gym after lunch to watch FCC tourney. Hated not playing ball...just watching and already looking forward to next season. We lost our first two games (all because of the refereeing...as usual) Shep Shepherd did a great job for us directing many of the moving parts it took to have a great first season.
After games, I headed to FCC to lead a leaders meeting for our upcoming Campus LIFE Groups. Many great electives this semester. You can check them out online at our new website foothills.cc
After meeting I just made it home to hang with my new best friends in the world.....my Community LIFE Group. We talked about how difficult it is to be transparent with others. And, that we desperately need people in our lives to be authentic with. Thanks ya'll.
Just when I thought the night might be over....I remembered 'Celebrity Apprentice'. So, we invited some friends from LIFE Group back over to watch Dennis Rodman continue his charade.
No late night hoops, so I was able to get to bed before mid-night. First time in weeks. Since your asking...Yes! My bracket is officially a disaster.
Oh well....Life goes on! Thank goodness!
