December in Review

The couple weeks have been great. We got to spend some time as a family down in Florida with Jeannie's mom. It was Jeannie's first Christmas without her dad, but she did great and has already begun a new and different relationship with her mom. I think I'm getting old though. I'm starting to enjoy the time on the road more than the time off the road. We were able to get back to our new home. We finally moved our of rental and into permanent home the first week of December. There is nothing like Christmas, as a family, in your own home. After Christmas I spent a couple days nailing down the notes for my talk on the following Sunday and "OD'n" on PS3. I was privileged, again, to speak for Greg at Foothills on the 28th. It was, as always, a total blast and felt much more comfortable with the environment than the last time I spoke. Jeannie and I ended the year with an incredible double-date with James and Jill Jarvis. They showed us downtown Greenville and then one of the best dinner experiences I've had at Soby's.
2008 is now gone and I will not miss it more than I'm looking forward to 2009.
