This weather is stinking awesome. I have thought several times about moving my office space outside, but didn't. It is interesting working in the church office these days. Some people love the cold mornings and cool afternoons, yet some do not. Some are cold natured, some are hot natured. Some have the heat on in office and some have the ac on. I love the colder weather, so I have my door to the outside opened. You walk down the hallway and it's like walking through several weather fronts. We are all different. I am totally confusing, my perfect scenario would be both. Have all my windows and doors open while I sit in front of a flaming fire place in my favorite sweat-shirt sipping coffee.
One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 19:11. I have to confess that I have not mastered this principal, but it is always on my mind. It is one of those verses that can literally and immediately change your life. Relationships are vital to healthy living. Protecting relational integrity is hard work, but it pays off. If your wondering about how to mend, protect, or preserve an existing relationship and somebody immediately comes to mind. Memorize Proverbs 19:11. We are all different. We are wired up uniquely yet all in the image of God. Of course people offend us. It happens. The person your closest with and have the greatest amount of familiarity will probably test your relationship more than anyone else. Put Proverbs 19:11 into practice and you will never go wrong. Ok, here it is:
The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger,
And his glory is to overlook a transgression (of one another) NKJV
